When you’re truly present, you’re able to tap into and act upon the potential of any given moment. Being able to live your life in the present moment, whatever it may bring, allows for:
greater creativity
a deeper ability to compassionately and effectively relate to others
a deeper relationship with life
The practice of awareness is an essential key to well-being.
You’ll explore the inner workings of the variety of challenging emotions, or “inner weather patterns.” The course includes the history and psychology of meditation, mindfulness, science of flow, EEG | MRI studies, long-term trait changes, neurofeedback, science of breath, foundational, ethical, and awareness practices from a wide variety of contemplative traditions.
Being present to whatever arises in your life requires the practice of cultivating awareness. In this course, you’ll practice presence through self-inquiry, a variety of meditations, some of which are seated, some walking, and some moving through your daily life.Â
